雪山玫瑰是白玫瑰中的高档品种，也是较新的品种，英文名字叫做Avalanche，在我国云南和台湾有生产。颜色干净，白色中透着淡淡的绿，花型好，花朵大。我国出产的雪山白玫瑰主要用于出口。
在国外，对雪山玫瑰地描述是这样的:
The Avalanche rose, or "Alba" - which literally means white, is a lovely rose with a large head. This head soon opens up to display a mass of creamy, green-white petals. A popular flower for weddings, the Avalanche rose suits its name perfectly. One of the larger roses that can be found in the flower shop, it is a high-end variety and if often priced accordingly.
